I only use the AFL website to do my tips......its saved on my desk top but still every now and then it asks for log in details...the App is just terrible.....pretty much have to log into it all the time so i just dont and last weekend it was obviously cook with the flu as no scores where showing up so i got rid off it and now use Footy Live.

 

I try not to use anything Fox if possible as im no fan of the Murdocks you know......especially since he divorced his asian wife.....Like has anyone taken a close look at Rupert lately? On Norfs side,Garner the only one ready to step up.

Best thing to come out of it was Paul Roos being there in a blue jacket.

Well well.....only Radar kept the faith......i have to confess when i checed the ins and outs lunchtime yesterday my reactions was....."ho thats not good" for the Strays.....to tired to think after getting bombarded from the builder, head was spinning from all the little things needed done for completion for hand over i forgot about the game.....i may have been ready to swap pics....never mind....

 

They got the carving knife out at the Saints.....what does it mean? but no stress men Hawks have returned from battle depleted as well....

 

Talk of the town is Bennie Brown is in for tomorrows Hobart clash, looking like Tom Brady has a point to prove....you can be sure the other Dee's WILL force feed Ben so he can notch up the 10 high ones for the game....sending a message to Geln Archer....you did me wrong.....must say he looks quite hansUme in his Dee jumper.....

 

Anyway for one week only we WILL savoy top spot on the ladder and make Nathan Jones day as we had never won on any of his milestone games and have never been top of the ladder while he has been in the team......all to come crushing down very soon as we have almost peeked and its all down hill from here....

The Dees playing it smart including Brown this week,has the experience to kick goals down there if the gale force winds pick up.

Sadly it's not even a home ground advantage for the Roos with such a new look team????,still Effort will be the word from Noble.

Well thats a nice thought but 1965 is still in my memory banks.....won the first 6 then 4 more for the rest of the season....18 game season so thats 4 was out of 12......thats 1 win in 3 ummmm finished 7th only a top 4 then....Saints finished top of the pops and the Hawks bottom...

Well half way through the Saints game i notice the top 6 in tipping were more or less thinking like me....I feel better now.....though if i was alert after a head banging day i would have switched pics last night....Scrays had some keys out......

 

The Demons have been lucky, few injuries, started well, keeping the group together thats clicking, no holes yet...and i mean yet...there coming....Swans beat us last year....so you know.....and The Blues could decide to turn up when they play us.....there more than good enough.....but....no win this weekend you would have to ask how safe is Teague......and the Pie players spoke loud and clear after Nathan said he wanted the job next year....they dont want him....bye bye Buckley....If the Pie board want to keep him there going to have to gut the team.....

I enjoyed the game,to be within 7 points early in the last was good for our young team.

Giving up 6 goals in a row in the 3rd and then 4 or 5 at the end is something they will learn from.

What i was most excited about was our pickup in skills compared to previous weeks.

Yes well glad you were excited....i seen shades of 2019 there.....like no where to be seen where ever the ball was....always going to be hung over after the Tigers game......

 

Pickett is magic for sure....but its Jet "Egg" Jackson who has in pressed me most....he reminds me so much of Jim Stynes.....i think Stynes was the best player ever at the Dee's and ive never seen a player so bad start a career where every single game just got better, every week there was improvement and Jackson is exactly the same...a short ruckman who cleans up around the ground...assuming the Eagles cant entice him home im banking on Jackson to eclipse Stynes....one thing Jackson can do that Stynes couldnt is play key forward....Jackson is looking like he will be worth his weight x2 in solid gold encrusted with rubies and diamonds......and i want 7 first round picks thanks WILL....

Another pluckaduck moment from the tribunal last night.

 

Glad too see the AFL is concerned about concussion.

If they (AFL) had any minerals, they would appeal the decision.

 

Bailey Fritsch gets his 1 week decision gets overturned by the tribunal.

Apparently leading with your elbow is not seen to be careless.

 

Then the VFL give 5 weeks for Paddy McCartin flushing a guy in the face.

Had to be eight I would've thought.

 

"McCartin claimed he was unusually agitated due to his low blood sugar levels prior to striking Geelong captain Aaron Black last weekend".

Fridays Frollies on Wednesday cause im expecting to be busy again.....

 

Had my first shot of the old peoples corvid jab this morning, with all the talk of miss handling it, going to my local hospital only reinforced the headlines....my appointment was for 7.30 am.....directed to a new building 100 meters away....front door locked and its 7.18 am....so back to the front to enter and of course no signs anywhere about directing the million plus people who's going to be coming here over the rest of the year to where they WILL get the jab so getting lost in the tentacles of the hospital corridors and 2 helpful staff later i arrived....with 10 people before me i thought...ummmm i must be a dill.....But i quickly knocked that on the head....after all i had an email that gave directions and the chap in emergency pointing me that way....so with the wit of a person who does not take fools gladly let them know what i thought while registering.....

 

Why are hospitals in Australia like a cave? 

 

Tigers on the G friday evening against the Cats.....now this looks like a hard game to pick....well how good do we think the Cats are? Both are fading lovers  caught up in a love triangle except the other two in the triangle dont love them anymore.....who shall ye fall on there swords shall ye die....Physics of course....checking the weather....friday is a good day so that wont mean anything....i just dont know.....so lets go the favourite.....

 

Gaints @ home to the Bombers.......Cameron of course....i have as much faith in the Bombers as i do in the USA not looking to bomb some one soon....

 

Suns vs Saints....ssssssssss'ssssss who have arrived? watching these two will be like watching Steptoe and Son....too young to know this show?....father and son named Steptow....The S's have it, who run a junk yard......kinda fits well hey? North vs Collingwood....Fj should be excited here....this is there big chance to snatch a win.....played more than ok last week smell blood and could do the Pies late sat a day arvo......Players sent a big no way jose too Nathan last week after he expressed his desire to coach the team into the future, still reeling from loosing some love ones to the Scrays and Hawks this game could very well hasten a departure, pretty dam sure a loss to North WILL make the Pie board move pretty quick pronto....After putting a smile on FJ's face.....its just a dream sir....your gonna loose again....

 

Wooooo........a big one Saturday night.....Demons on the G against the Swans.....Well they better turn up early this week as id like to point out the Swans did us like a dinner last year, signs of last year in last weeks game....the run is almost over....a reprieve for Friccccccch i mean hes not a dirty player, hes a good kid.....Petracca now with an air tight contract uses the same manager as Goodwin.....The Weed is expected to play so who's going out? as stated in past mumblings Demons dont know how to kick to leading forward...poor Bennie Brown was all at sea last week and if the Weed is in neither are much chop on the ground where's before with Jackson and Macdonald they were able to crumb as well take contested marks....It WILL mean Spargo and Pickett will need to be hanging around the two talls like vultures ready for the left overs....Upset is looming.......I would have said Swans when i heard Baily was rubbed out now im not so sure.....

 

Port to feast on Crow feet this coming saturday night....put down your glasses this is one home game the Crows wont win....

 

Eagles WILL fine tune there September aspirations this coming sunday on the G, Hawks slipped back faster than Tarzan in quicksand....he survived but got nothing done untill the next episode......Kennedy on one leg and a few old codgers there got down there should be just a bit to classy, like the movie Cat on a Hot Tin Roof no matter how much Elizabeth Taylor (Hawks) wants Paul Newman (Eagles) isnt going to give......

 

Bulldogs vs the Blues......just tune into Last Tango in Paris men....same same...... young Maria was in love and though love could work everything out....old Marlon Brando on the other hand a rusty bitter recluse was mean........even used butter.......i wont go there .......but you can imagine what i mean.....WILL be interesting listening to Teague on how many inside 50's they got again, which just goes to show you how stats can mislead....

 

Lions on the Gabba easy like the Commodors on a sunday morning.....Away from home.....away from girls friends......alone, Hogan gone, Bell in charge.....still bleeding after last weeks encounter, the 7 hr flight....gees they could be in BKK......and im pretty sure they WILL wish they were.......

Im a modest man WILL.....i haven't forgotten all those years the Demons have wallowed on the ladder floor.....and in tipping.....same same....... with 3 rounds to go if were still on top and cant loose i WILL let it all out.....
