Featured Replies

Friendship is usually cheaper on everything, but i have never checked those drinks.

Yes agree on Friendship, but I guess you just have to go and find out the hard way. By walking over there.

Finally a topic that 99% of these so-called expats here have excellent knowledge about.

Where to buy cheap booze..

I would not even be surprised some experts here making their own most affordable brew.

Ha ha you beat me to it. In Thailand the cheapest 3 litre is 895 baht at Friendship for 10% fruit wine.

I make my own limoncello and orangecello. I buy a bottle of all grain vodka from Big C for 300 baht and then infuse lemon or orange zest in the vodka for a few weeks. Add sugar and a little water and you have a drink that can be used on it's own or with cocktails at around 35% abv. Many recipes on YouTube.

Points to note: this is not illegal as you are buying the alcohol.

Great stuff.

I posted a few recipes for wine on the forum a couple of years back. People tried my mushroom wine and ginger wine. Went down very well.

I am going to try your drinks Vogie. Will report back.
