March 7, 200719 yr This is kind of a stupid thread, lets all declare our income so to speak, the ultimate answer is, NO it doesn’t matter as long as our family and friends are happy and healthy.

March 8, 200719 yr Reminds me of an ex-pat I new in Singapore a few years ago, he looked over his beer and said to me "Money doesn't make you happy, and I should know because I have got bucket loads of the stuff" The vineyard in Australia is a pain in the arse The house in Sydney is overrun by ungrateful kids I am constantly trying to minimise tax and I dont even know what country my wife is in at the moment. He should have cashed his chips in and moved to LOS
March 8, 200719 yr O.K., I'm all in also. Between my protfolio and real estate, almost a self made millionaire at 45 yo with absolutely no college. Barely made it thruogh high school. Just had the full health check and, aside from the cholestrol (and maybe drinking too much), everything's good. As far as currency fluctuations, I learned a long time ago to not worry about things that I can not control. Cheers.
March 8, 200719 yr i am a multi-BILLIONnaire when doing my accounting in Zimbabwe Dollars (@ black market rate).
March 8, 200719 yr Long ago, I came to the conclusion that money is only important if you have none. I was very frugal until all my debts were paid off and I had enough income to retire. I guess I just got used to being conservative and my net worth increases a little every year. It wasn't in my plan to leave my kids any money, but that may happen.
March 8, 200719 yr skint member £43 overdrawn in my bank .couldnt stop partyin when i got back home .YIKES better pull my finger out if i want to get back to LOS
March 8, 200719 yr From previous polls, I think the result is that there is a HUGE range. Some people make / have serious money by any international standard. Some struggle to be even regarded as middle class by Thai standards.... Yet all are happy. (or if not happy then not for reasons relating to money)
March 8, 200719 yr i have nothing(nearly),so(nearly) nothing to lose. You Have your life, so you have something to loose.
March 8, 200719 yr Just thinking of the sock market keeps me awake at night. Will they have the right colour? my size? what is the quality of the material? etc etc

March 8, 200719 yr i have nothing(nearly),so(nearly) nothing to lose. You Have your life, so you have something to loose. Everything together falls apart Everyhing rising up collapses Every meeting ends in parting Every life ends in death. Udanavarga 1.22
