simon43 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I'm now living in Bueng Kan, where there is an immigration entry/exit point to Paksan, Laos, which is the small town on the other side of the Mekong river. It would be nice to pop over to Paksan whenever I want to go exploring, Sunday lunch etc. I will have no problems re-entering Thailand at the Bueng Kan land (river) crossing as many times as I want (I have an Elite visa). But I know that there is no visa-on-arrival issued at Paksan, and I don't want to travel up to Nong Khai to cross over to Laos. Is there any type of Lao visa that I can obtain prior to making trips over to Laos which will allow me entry at Paksan? (Preferably multiple entries over several months or one year).
