What Is The Sequence For A One Year Visa

I have a multi-entry B visa, with 9 months still left before any renewal.

I am due to do a 90 visa run on the 21st this month unless I get the one year visa to go with my work permit.

The company who processed the work permit and now the visa say we will not get notified as to if I will get the visa till the 18th. Despite the fact that all the documents have been submitted, I am rapidly losing confidence in this company for other reasons, does what I am being told sound correct?

Does not sound correct. The Immigration officer when he accepts your application and the documents, will stamp the passport with a 30 day" under consideration" extension.

Thats what I thought, but I am now being told that they are awaiting a document from the social security department (Thai equivelent). and it is normal for these things not to be dealt with till 2 or 3 days before my current 90 visa expires.

Will it harm my application if I should remove all my documentation from this company and deposit it elsewhere where it may be dealt with more professionally

Thats what I thought, but I am now being told that they are awaiting a document from the social security department (Thai equivelent). and it is normal for these things not to be dealt with till 2 or 3 days before my current 90 visa expires.

Immigrations gatekeeper never accepted the application so it won't hurt.

By the way when was the company formed? Has it filed an audit yet?

Formed in Dec 2006, started operating 6 January 2007, therefore no audit yet but employees Tax paid.
