GI bill to learn thai language

Featured Replies

Greeting everyone, any U.S. veterans here?

Is it possible to use GI bill to study thai language?

It does not matter where is the school, as long as it accepts the post9-11 GI bill.

I am not trying to pursue a bachlor degree or MBA.

Once again, I would like to study thai language using the GI Bill.

Thank you.

I used it, in 1990 when it was called "VEAP" and I went back to graduate school.  I had looked at going to other types of schools such as avionics mechanic school, so I read up and asked a lot of questions.  But it was never really clear to me how the borderline cases would be handled for approval.  I am not sure what types of checks and balances are applied so that Vets don't go to fake or sham schools, or even who decides the education classes are appropriate.  I thought some criteria such as actually progressing towards a degree or certificate was required, but I can't recall.  Just going to something such as "beautician" school for example was not allowed as I recall

If at an accredited university you should be covered , but to be sure,  check out what Google shows:
