I do believe in principal you're correct. IMO the trump leadership supporting MEK is a major concern. There are mainstream articles, but you'll get the drift...

An uneducated, non political person like myself has to wonder who is running the USA, is it the "elected" officials or the Military/Industrial machine? based on what I am witnessing and the agenda of every government, no matter what party they are supposed to represent having the same agenda I can only come to one conclusion, or am I missing something?

It is easy for civilian governments to start a war, however they rarely have to fight in it.

 

The military are the people who have to fight the war, hopefully ending it swiftly. 

 

Winning the war is easy, but winning the peace is not.

 

Most governments never have a plan to win the peace, to rebuild all the damage that the military have caused due to the war that THEY started, to get the services like electricity, water, sewage, roads, airports etc working again.

 

That is not in their mindset when declaring a war.

 

What I would like to see is that every politician who votes for a war NUST send all of their immediate family, wife, children, brothers, sisters etc to be in the first wave of attack and see how they would like it.

If the USA does declare war on Iran there will be a large butchers bill on both sides. If it happens the Israelis will get in there, and probably the KSA too.

 

If it does happen then Iran will most probably lose, as their equipment is not equal to the USA, Israel and the KSA, however the Iranians will never give in and they are pretty good at irregular warfare in their own country.

 

Just a thought, what would happen if Russia and China and perhaps Syria were to come to the aid of Iran? What would the US do then?

 

What if the EU got its act together and joined the Iranian side?

 

Trump has burned most of his bridges with the Western allies so he will find little comfort there.

 

The problem with both Trump and Bolton is that they both want a war, but a limited one. Netanyahu doesn't care as long as the Iranians are "suitably disposed" of.

That's what Trump said.The other countries and international inspectors did not state that Iran was getting the nuclear bomb. They stated that the treaty was respected.

just about 7-10 days ago Iran released close up, digital footage of US carrier which they took by drones undetected.

 

About 3-4 weeks ago, Iran claimed to have shot down US made drone and paraded it all over media.

 

Both incidents went unanswered by US, so this move supposedly is the response
