SETV in Vientiane

Hi guys, 

 

Just a quick question, I have not been to Vientiane for atleast 8 months but I heard there are some new rules at the embassy. 

Can anyone tell me what these new rules are, or can I just get on a plane and go apply for the SETV like normal.

The only change is that you have to make an appointment to do the application. See: https://thaivisavientiane.com/#

You need to make the appointment 2 to 3 weeks in advance to find a available day.

Thanks mate, will I still wait only 1 day for my visa and collect it the next day or is there longer waiting periods?

It is the same as before. Apply the morning of one day and pickup the next afternoon.
