Cameron explicitly said the opposite. The majority of MPs said they would respect the referendum result, but haven't.

I agree with the bit about Corbyn and socialism.

 

IF Boris wins the election for being PM he will win the poisoned chalice and will have to clear Brexit by October 31, one way or another.

 

Whatever the outcome of Brexit it is only 5 months away and the new PM will not be up and running until the back end of July which will give whoever only 3 months to achieve what took TM 3 years to screw up.

 

The UK will be damaged and it will probably take a year or 2 to shake out all the dead meat. During that time under WTO rules we can still trade with the EU and negotiate new trade deals without going through the EU. While we are still in the EU we cannot initiate or make our own deals.

 

It will also damage the EU as well but to what extent I have no idea.

 

Perhaps stevenl's experts can do their mumbo jumbo and come up with an accurate assessment.

The Y2K bug was avoided because it was foreseen and hundreds or even thousands of programmers and IT experts avoided...... they were listened to and a disaster was averted. 

Just as small lox was averted because experts were listened to and many other events....they didn't happen because people listened to those warning about them.
