No smoking zone in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Bangkok's  non-smoking zones reported in Bangkok Post today.

1. Don Mueang airport

2. Silom Road

3. Victory Monument

4. Chatuchak Bus terminal

5. Taling Chan floating market

I hope that Chiang Mai will follow for at least these three areas

1. Arkade bus station

2. Chiang Mai airport.

3. Warorot market

It's 2019 I would like to see them follow with:  Chiang Mai province.

But realistically those still addicted gotta get their fix so there should be areas well away from breathers where they can poison themselves.

I don't see the connection.

Do you mean if you can't accomplish everything then you shouldn't try anything?

Typical reply from a smoker.

Whataboutism always comes out with you guys.

According to Bangkok governor Thaweesak Lertprapan: "Offenders caught flouting the smoking ban face a maximum fine of 5000 baht."

That sounds like it's going to be a nice little earner.

I agree the smoky diesels in town are a real health hazard
