freckle
I will not be anywhere near this site due to possible bomb attacks. The Aussie embassy sent me an sms last week warning of possible bomb attacks in bkk. This is Pattaya's largest event in a small area. Not worth the risk! PhilHarries
I land BKK 16:20 Friday the 16th heading down to Pattaya, soi 13/1. Sounds like I'll need to get the taxi make a beer stop and try to sneak in down Klang or Tai. I'm not coming for the music fest but for a far more important function. The TV St Pat's day pissup! Oh well I'll probably take in some sounds during the weekend as well.

Ungabunga
beware guys and gals last year i woke in a pool of my own vomit in the park at the new pier, it was another nail in the coffin of my then relationship with a gal from buriram, she was not impressed as i due to meet some of her family that morning. hopefully this year will be better with my new gf Wish you good luck with that Jeffery. Life in today's modern city is full of hidden dangers. Sounds like your a true fan of music. I think that this year's music festival may be overshadowed by the gathering at Tropical Bert's somewhow. Tata Young though, is someone who I wouldn't mind listeneing to. do you think we can persuade Bert to book her for next year's pissup? As for bomb warnings for BKK, I'm not sure if that would deter me from attending a music festival in Pattaya. BBQ and beer is usually enough for me, plus I wouldn't want to give in to terrorrism. Hope everyone attending has a good time

I do not think you will have to worry about the southern terrorists setting off a bomb at the music festival. If you were a muslim terrorist would you want to blow up a music festival or blow up a wat on Songhran (Thai New Year). I think next month would be the time to worry. Go to the festival and enjoy the music.

gharknes
Does anyone know exactly where the music festival will be taking place.I live on beach rd. in Jomtien and don't know where the pattaya sports stadium is. same place as the bike festival, go south on beach road until you get to that main junction then turn left and keep going to sukumvit, then continue straight across, it's about 3k up on the left
