Internet Speed - Is 3BB deliberately slowing speeds?

I wrote very clearly in the first post that I CHANGED NOTHING and that the speed slowed down but went up instantaneously once 3BB was called.   Instead of reading it multiple people wrote replies about slowing speeds due to VPN, router heating up, virus attacks, the internet feed being hacked etc.  All of those things may contribute to slower speeds however the people writing them as reasons should have read the post and said, nothing changed other than 3BB reset the signal. If any of them were the reasons for the slow speed resetting the signal would have no effect.

You are having another bad day then....?

Tried that, no it makes no difference but call 3BB and the speed immediately goes back to well over 200 MBPS.

Well if you are as polite when speaking to 3BB as you are within some of your responses to posters on here then perhaps  I can believe that 3BB are throttling your speeds for good reason  !!  ????

Check in your router the maximum connection speeds for up and download and the real connection speed for the same. If this changes much there will be a connection problem. Also try different speedtest servers. In my experience there performance is not always the same. You can take one located here in Pattaya. The further you go away from your location the slower it might get. The other thing is that if you use the internet alone or only with a few people 200 Mbs is an overkill. Most sites that you call up will not deliver such a speed. You will not see much difference to a much slower connection.

While I appreciate your effort with the response.  For the umpteenth time. The connection suddenly degrades.  One phone call to 3bb to reset the connection and instantaneously the speed goes to above 200MPBS.  So its obvious the problem has nothing to do with anything on my end otherwise their resetting it would have zero effect.  The question is if 3bb is deliberately throttling speeds down or do they have some sort of glitch in their system.

I'm in Pattaya and for past week my 3BB connection Internet has been cutting in and out several times a day.
I've tried calling them numerous times and kept getting a robot response.
On the single occasion I did speak to a real person, they were in Bkk and asked where I was situated.
As soon as I said Pattaya, they immediately rerouted the call to Pattaya where once again I got the robot.
Eventually it said, something like "If you would like us to call back, please press One "1".
Of course they never called back and every attempt I've made to contact them since, has resulted in a robot telling me to hold the call and then after a minute or so, the call drops out.
The building is still on copper cable for 3BB but TOT changed to Fiber optic several months ago.
Unfortunately I have to stay with 3BB until my contract runs out.
I'm currently getting 12.84 Mbps download, and 27.00 Mbps upload.

Which question was, I think, answered by @johng in post #7 way back on the first page of this thread.
