KRABI:-- Authorities in Krabi have urged people to stay away from the Fast & Furious 9 film set, highlighting that only stunt performers and no actual actors will be on the set when filming starts on Monday (July 1).
 

Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) Krabi Office, Apichai Aranyig, said on Wednesday (June 26) that the film crew had been to Ban Nai Sa Rd in the Khao Thong sub-district of Krabi last week to explore the area in preparation for filming which is scheduled to take place from Monday until Thursday next week.

 

“Anyone who is not part of the production crew is not allowed in the area and should stay away while filming takes place,” Mr Apichai stressed. “The area will be secured.

I just saw "Toy Story 4" (FANTASTIC film BTW, bring Kleenex!). While waiting for this main feature, I saw previews for "Fast and Furious 9" and recommend not only avoiding the set, but avoiding the WHOLE FILM.

Didn't realize that filming in Krabi was related to Phuket.

Unfortunately this happens quite often on TVF these days. The topic is about Krabi, but due to the news source having 'Phuket' In its name, it is posted in the Phuket forum, and stays there despite reports.

Krabi, Phang Nga, Phi Phi are all not in Phuket province.

Probably no one should have the chance to collect evidence of the destruction caused by these "dangerous" shootings!
Who remembers when the movie The Beach was filmed on Phi Phi island? Destruction of nature in great style as always when the Americans turn their "masterpieces".
