AoT will fine-tune IT system in Suvarnabhumi Airport

Transport Minister Thira Haocharoen says he has reminded the Airports of Thailand (AoT) to upgrade its information technology (IT) system in Suvarnabhumi Airport within two months.

Admiral Thira says the improvement will enable the IT system in Suvarnabhumi airport to link with other systems such as the customs system and the administrative systems of other airlines. He says issues in Suvarnabhumi Airport will be directly reported to him and his deputies every two weeks.

The Transport Minister says the construction of 208 additional restrooms in the new airport will be finished by this July. Previously, the construction is expected to be done by this April.

Admiral Thira says he will inspect the problems and the work progresses in Suvarnabhumi Airport. He will examine the warehouses and the noise pollution problems.
