Looking for recommendations on Phuket language schools

Recommended Posts

Hi does anyone have any personal recommendations for a legitimate language school in Phuket? I'm taking private lessons at the moment but I'd like to switch to an ED visa so I'm looking for a school.

Appreciate any positive or negative reviews on schools.

Thank you!

Ok thanks. They all seem very unprofessional so far. I thought there would be at least one who charges a little more but does things properly.

Yup i know. But this proofs only that they know how to run their game. Students may think different.

Do you have any reason to query this school?

My GF went there for English lessons about a dozen years ago. No complaints.

Yup but my opinion about the owners and the school isn't importent and better not for public.

Only wanted to see if there are now good reasons for that school.

Surprised to hear that. My wife went there 10-12 years ago for English lessons as well. The student workbooks were full of grammatical errors - nearly one error on each page.

I once met her teacher and couldn't understand a single word she said when she tried to speak English with me. In defense of the school, they also had native English speaking teachers, but charged considerably more for classes taught by them.

The OP is asking about learning Thai, hopefully their Thai classes are a cut above what I observed for students learning English.

I didn't check her work books nor meet teachers, so can't compare.

I did notice a marked improvement in her English.
