I can imagine how excited the girls are already out there ????

One big spender will offer 500 THB for LT and 4 of his friends want to score because they all share a room ????

Great news for the business all over!

There will probably a rise in Indian tourists for a couple of years. Then when they too get tired of being cheated, fleeced, overcharged, conned and made to feel like walking ATMs they too will go elsewhere.

They will probably increase the number overstayers.

My experience of the nice Indian folk is that they share everything - 5 to a room - 1 coke 5 straws - one lady …………………….getting the picture, they spend little because they have little to spend, walk about in groups usually in the middle of the road with some sort of death wish, if Thailand is wanting to boost tourist income it is definitely not coming from India

Welcome to the nice curry smell!

Ah,the pungent aroma of Indian men wafting down walking street, please don’t come to chiang mai.

They save money and don't use as much water - look on the bright side.

Interesting. It doesn't have Thailand, but everybody who I see on daily basis (as in family) showers morning and evening, that'd be 14. Pretty much standard here in tropics I think. Back in arctic twice a week was enough - couldn't be arsed to break the 5" ice on top of the water barrel more often.
