July 14, 20196 yr Disclaimer: Vietnam. I had both, my Iphone and an Ipad repaired. The replacement glass was 3 x thicker and is dreadfully unresponsive.Moreover, the Ipad is often going crazy - racing through photos or starting aps. The phone shows ghost images. Q1: Is this a known practice (to make money)? Q2: do they de-solder good parts? Q3: Any idea what this business practice is all about?
