Transport Minister says Don Muang will be ready for reuse on Mar 25

Transport Minister Thira Haocharoen and entourage looked over the passenger terminal in Don Muang Airport yesterday (Mar 14). He says the airport will be ready to operate on its reopening day on March 25th.

Admiral Thira says three airlines, including Thai Airways, Nok Air, One-Two-Go, will use Don Muang Airport, and it will support 80 flights per day. He says it is not imperative if some vendors in the airport may not be ready to service the customers on time since they can finish setting up their stores later.

Thai Airways chairman Chalit Pukbhasuk says the board of Thai Airways has considered the readiness of its flights to Don Muang Airport from March 25th onwards. He says Don Muang Airport will support 31 flights of Thai Airways every day.

He says the code for flights to Don Muang Airport will be DMK while the flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport will still be BK.
