Tot Dsl Modem Setting

Hi all,

I use TOT with the goldcyber account and have a GS8100 modem supplied by TOT.

Many times when surfing the web, a webpage will not load at all... or will start to load but hang and take forever to load, or never load... if I hit reload, many times it will then load automatically... or else hang again, to which I have to keep hitting reload until it works. I have read that TOT is not that great, so this may just be all due to TOT, but am starting to wonder if it may be something on my end...

I remember when I first got the GS8100 modem a year ago I played around with the settings a bit, but don't remember if I put them all back... does anyone know what the proper settings should be for this modem for TOT? (ie. VPI, VCI, Mux Type etc)?

Also, I noticed once that when I had used the phone to which the DSL line is attached, it seemed to affect my internet connection. Is it possible that the phone line is of not good quality and is the source of most of my problems?

Any thoughts or ideas welcome.

But it looks to me that your Router Modem has a problem. I had same problem with Routers from Billion and TPLInk. Chnaged the Router and everything works fine.
