Last time i saw a mechanical, ie non electric pump was on my Ford tractor.

While back in the U.K. had some work to do on the hornet so also stripped the pair return valve out at the same time,this is a 1999 bike and they were even fitting emission controls things back then,same as the evap canister thing already fitted on the CRF250L,stripped that straight out just to make engine look less cluttered.

It seem some people here don't think emission control is a good idea. Why?

I agree that sometimes that is not easy on bikes. But the idea to make sure emissions are limited is a very good idea.
