100% correct , the 30 + 30 + 30 is illegal, its been tested in a Phuket court and your correct in saying it also nullifies the whole contract , so there is not even a 30 year lease -

update of bank book after extension with 800,000 THB in the bank
No. Appears that you are using fixed deposit account. No 12 month bank statement required. For those of us using funds in the bank method then immigration offices accept photocopies of bank book pages back to last extension. Note that some offices are now insisting on 12 month bank statement. This happen to me recent extension as I had one month with zero transaction. The standard bank letter I referred to is your second pic in earlier pic Here is example. -

Spot on, well said. Thanks for balancing out, with reality, the constant paranoia / worrying we see in these type of threads. Poor reporting, with sensationalist , inaccurate wording like the article this thread is based on, doesn't help the situation. The new firms that have sprung up are best described as opportunistic vultures, feeding off worry, taking advantage of peoples concern , and clearly overcharging while doing it! Well thank you. It wasn't merely the article so much as the links with it, which were quite detailed in themselves. I honestly can't remember the truth of them all but they basically agree with what I do recall. It was all softly softly detente in those days but the main problem seems to be that rules of NATO expansion after German reunification, or the limits of it, were not clearly defined and agreed in any formal treaty but were rather assumed, after a series verbal promises from Baker etc. Maybe because Yeltsin was hammered all day? Not sure. -
