In response to the Thai government’s efforts to promote the use of biodiesel B20, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co Ltd has confirmed that its Triton pickup and Pajero Sport PPV are biodiesel B20-compatible.

“Our customers can travel with less pollution and at lower costs through the use of biodiesel B20. The air quality will also improve with reduced emission of dust and greenhouse gasses into the air. We are committed to continue developing cleaner energy compatible vehicles in the future,” said Morikazu Chokki, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand).

He added that Mitsubishi Triton since 2007 and Pajero Sport since 2009 are compatible with B20.

For more information, owners can request advice from Mitsubishi technicians regarding vehicle preparation for B20 compatibility. They are also eligible for free 22-item preliminary vehicle inspection services at Mitsubishi dealers network nationwide.

Customers can also check biodiesel B20 compatibility via https://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.th/th/b20, contact Mitsubishi Motors dealers nationwide or Mitsubishi Call Centre 02-079-9500, every day from 8.30am to 5pm.

“Our customers can travel with less pollution and at lower costs through the use of biodiesel B20. The air quality will also improve with reduced emission of dust and greenhouse gasses into the air,” Chokki said.

Is there a big difference in consumption?
From what I understand you get less mpg using B20 due to it being a lower performing fuel
It gives less efficiency than normal diesel due to a lower energy content

There is a lot more research and engine testing to be done before I would use it voluntarily....

I guess it would be same as E20, depending on car and driving style.
