Where to buy a small magnetic screwdriver set?

Featured Replies

Any thoughts on where to pick one up in Chiang Mai?

Looking primarily for Phillips head but also flat head screwdrivers.

Thanks!

Tesco, Big C, Mr DIY, hardware/tool shops all have them.

60 baht shops, Tesco lotus, mama & papa's store, Big C, and many other shops within Chiang Mai

Thai Watsadu, though its a place I rarely buy from has the best range of screwdriver sets and very inexpensive.

For general small diy jobs I suggest you buy a small combi screwdriver which has phillips head one end and flat the other. Flat screwdrivers are rare these days as are slotted screws. Also treat yourself to a small electrical driver and then a long handled phillips head.

Those three are about all you need really ratherthan a set.

Why not try one of CMs great independent tool shops like Lana Screw or the one on the corner of the Super and Chotana Road, Montree.

It's Nana Screw.

Been their customer for over 25 years, and continue to switch back and forth with the two names, give me another 10 years to try to get it right.

Thanks, all.

Lazada is usually my go to (though I'd like to support more local businesses), but won't be using them this time as I'm out of the country and will need to buy something the day of my return for a quick project.

I appreciate all the input!

Amorn has the small sets for not very much - several branches across the city

I just use the screwdriver set I have and attach a small Neodymium magnet to the shank.

They're incredibly powerful and are a much better option then buying a new set for a one off project.
