Way to go! Gran is potty about potholes!

Thai media reported that a grandmother in Sri Bunreuang, Nong Bua Lamphu in Thailand's north east was fed up with students having accidents on the pothole covered road where she is staying.

 

So she has taken the matter into her own hands. 

 

Armed with her shovel and old paint tin 60 year old Thongplian Buasri has been filling in the holes to make the road safer. 

 

Pheeraphat, 19, who posted the news on Facebook said it was right that Thongplian was praised for her actions.

To think a man landed on the moon in 1969 Thailand has a lot of catching up to do... can't even build a proper road yet!
