stament Posted September 15, 2019 Share Posted September 15, 2019 I'm considering buying a new iPhone and wondered if it's cheaper buying it in the UK or Thailand. I'm able to claim vat refunds in both places but am not familiar with the charges related to claiming in both countries so not sure which would end up cheaper. As sterling weakened it would have benefited buying in the UK but phone prices have increased in line with FX decrease so zero gain I guess.
