Eyeglass Re-surfacing??

Eyeglass re-surfacing or re-polishing:...Is there such a thing?   I have hazed the lenses of my favorite glasses by overly aggressive cleaning of them with what I thought was soft cotton but turned out not to be soft enough.  Perhaps it also had some polyester microfibers in it that were abrasive.

Anyway, the lenses are poly carbonate with darkening.  I kind of doubt it can be done but just thought I'd ask.
