Grand Suhkumvit By Sofitel

Featured Replies

I've been there.

I would say that the rooms are quite nice and modern but still a bit on the cheap side IMO for Sofitel standards considering they are charging the best part of B4000 for a standard room.

The presidential 2 bed suite isn't that spectacular either, I didn't like the layout and it's not a touch on any other in a 5* establishment.

Staff are friendly and the service is comparable to a 3-4 star hotel.

If you are only going to go standard then I would say that the Dynasty Inn Grande next door is a much better choice and it's a fraction of the cost at only B2280 per night.

So the Grand Sukhumvit by Sofitel is a no for me, there are much better hotels in BKK available at a similar price.
