Thailand's economy is doing so well as for the past few years the government has taken strong positions on corruption, human trafficking, drug smuggling, slave labor, and illegal immigrants...and that is just in the ex-pat community...????

Say what???

Where's the corroborative data to support?

This subject has been talked to death in the last few days alone.

But I find the above surprising...a Thai office worker getting paid in USD... Next thing we'll be hearing they are getting paid in GBP...some other currency?

Budget surplus , huge foreign reserves and capital inflow is why this is happening .

So you are upset that the Thai's are finally making a fare wage?  Think a little bit more globally, and a little less about the past and yourself..

She tell you about her flying car and ability to predict the future too ?

1100 dollars is about 33000 baht , there are enough people who work in an office that make this a month .
