Yes.  A 2.5 hour for bags at BKK was not a one off and happens every single time?  As someone who is in and out of there maybe twice a month it hasn't happened to me once.  In fact it's usually reasonably quick, comparable to any other half decent airport.

There’s some confusion, I said I normally wait 20 minutes at carousel, after a 20-25 minute walk from gate.

Every time.

Nowhere do I mention waiting 2.5 hr

Yes indeed, some confusion.  However your post stating that a 4 hour delay at Gatwick was a one off whilst BKK is every single time didn't help the suggestion that you think Bangkok takes 20 minutes.

For me Bangkok is average, no better or worse than most other major airports, including the TVF revered Changi.  Last time at Changi last month I had a 45 minute wait and it wasn't even raining.
