A simple question really, my friend has purchased several packets of Viagra on the street, (no prescription) now he wants to know what would happen if caught in possession of them.

it is illegal to possess Viagra without a prescription.

they are fake. only buy in a pharmacy and know what the correct packaging looks like for whatever you are buying.

That"s good to hear so no real big deal like getting visa extension revoked and deported.

They are Zeagra and in the correct packaging and brought in from a surrounding country and defiantly not fake. A tip if buying is to taste them and nibble a bit if you have ever had any similar you will know that bitter sweet taste. and where my friend lives you need a script.

No need to be illegal.

No more need to pay silly prices for genuine Viagra (like 10 USD per pill?).

Patent for Viagra substance () has expired.

"Viagra" labeled stuff from the street is 100% fake and be happy if it only does nothing.

Local made Sidegra should be available with a short examination at a local clinic.

Much cheaper.

well its the old monopoly trick, while you cant be in possession of VIAGRA , how come they manUfacture SIDEGRA, in Thailand, buy at your local chemist, not the street, going rate about 300 baht for 4 x 100, mg tabs, can cut in half with a razor blade, my mate told me they are the dogs bits (liar) lol

It is illegal to have without a prescription.

Cop shake-downs are common (and not infrequently they hang out right near the sellers...no action taken against the vendors, only the customers).

Every case I have heard of ended with a pay off. I do nto know what would happen if someone did nto pay up and I don't recommend finding out.

In addition to the legal risk, every chance what is openly sold on the street is fake.

It is nto hard (no pun intended) to get a prescription and buy this legally.

Sheryl is right - they are prescription only in Thailand and possession without having them prescribed by a doctor registered in Thailand is an offence. A minor one, but something that cops can scare you into coughing up a few thousand for. The ones on the street are fake. Buy in a pharmacy, keep them in your suitcase, and put one in your wallet if you're heading out. Take one hour before you get your new friend back to your room.
