Does anyone sell used 2007 Ford Escape Auto  Transmissions here.

Order from a Ford Thailand authorised dealer.

Last time i went to a Ford dealer was because my air con was not working. Ford Samui told me that the computer had packed up and quoted Bht 47,000. I took it to a repair place in Surtthani who fixed it for BHT 18,000, still working good after  2 years.+

I note you posted before and are still struggling with this. You may have to bite the bullet and open your wallet.

I doubt you will find this here. You could find it in the UK and ship it in, but by the time you have paid for it, plus shipping, plus wrestled Thai customs sticky fingers off it, I doubt you would be any better off.

I see two ways:-

1. have it repaired by a Thai auto gearbox specialist. (No, I do not know one and be aware this is not a job for amatuers so not recommended here).

Or

2. Pay a Ford dealer to repair it or fit an exchange unit.

Thanks but i know all that i wish to know. Forget the rip off Ford dealer, i have dealt with them.

Before jumping to conclusions it would be wise to know the background of Da Roadrunner. And if you know all that you wish to know, why did you post?

Exactly what fault does this gearbox have?

If the vehicle can still drive, have you thought of disposing of it at auction, where buyers are not allowed to test drive before buying.

Because that is really ethical.

Being real.  It's unethical and I would not do it.

Of course other people do it, but it's not for me.  I would not want some other private owner to be mislead by my listing.  And I therefore wouldn't encourage anyone else to do it.

If i knew for sure that one of the "tent" guys was going to buy it I wouldn't feel so bad, but I still wouldn't do it.

But up to you.  One of the many reasons I would never buy at auction.
