A secretary to the justice ministry revealed at the weekend that one hundred victims were preparing to press the Department of Special Investigations (DSI) to consider the "Forex-3D" case as one with special status.

There are thought to be 30,000 victims of the scheme that offered 10% interest per month.

Losses are believed to be in the region of 4 billion baht.

The justice minister Somsak Thepsuthin is investigating personally after claims that "Forex-3D" was nothing more than a Ponzi or pyramid selling scheme.

The representatives will be meeting the DSI on Thursday later this week.

Meanwhile the DSI made an appeal for further victims to come forward by using a QR code.

They told them that they make nearly 100% per year. So they forgot thinking and "invested" their money. Remember: if something sounds too good to be true, it´s not true.

Your math is bad.

that would compound to 213.84% annual interest rate which turns 1000 THB into 3,138.43 THB after 1 year, which is obviously total bs promise.

Just to show the absurdity after 6 years of investing 1000 USD you would be a dollar millionaire if those interest rates would be real, everyone with half a brain can see whats going on ... after 20 years you would be a trillionaire...

greed <deleted> brain.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors. The Ponzi scheme generates returns for early investors by acquiring new investors. This is similar to a pyramid scheme in that both are based on using new investors' funds to pay the earlier backers. This is definition of Ponzi scheme. Forex3d is a broker which offer PAMM account same like ALPARI, INSTAFOREX ETC. For 100 people with a stupid lawyer PAMM means Percentage allocation management

module which is not pyramid or PONZI SCHEME.Broker manager trade for investors and when make a profit take his commision and the rest is distributed to investors.

10% interest... what goes through the mind of these absolute morons? Do they actually think there's such a thing as free money? Absolutely baffling how any adult could fall for such an obvious scam.
