How to watch the entire Terminator movie series in chronological order

Due to all its timey-wimey shenanigans, the Terminator timeline makes the X-Men timeline look straightforward by comparison.

 

Terminator: Dark Fate added another wrinkle by completely ignoring the previous three movies, starting up its own timeline within the Terminator franchise and a new future.

 

While they differ wildly in terms of events, the timelines do have one trait in common: it doesn't matter what the characters do, humanity is doomed.

 

And on that cheery note, here's our best attempt to watch the Terminator series in (somewhat) chronological order.
