Tonight the last word is sadness.

Why's that mate - I had a great Sunday. Got morno's, then Tiffin, and Evening Special. Went out - watched the Moto GP (great race), had a few beers (too many) am home and logged onto TV. What more could you want than that?

Shock!

Taser.

Just trying to lighten it up a little bit.... there are places for remembrance and I'm sure that we all have feelings when an incident happens, however this thread isn't the right place to express them, there are many other better places... this is The Last Word.... unsullied by the outside world, impervious to events of the day.... let's try to keep it that way.

Lifted pinkies really does sound like a euphemism!

Euphemism

I remember the map of the world at school and it had coloured in pink (no idea why it was pink) the bits that belonged to the British Empire. Most of it was formed into an empire under Victoria's reign so does that make it her pink bits?

tlw Victorian era

Any reference to HM Victoria's pink bits is deemed inappropriate.

She had Mr Brown's bits.

Does 'ugh' qualify as TLW?

No it doesn't so despite agreeing with your sentiments I must take back the last word as it is rightfully mine to own.

CB

Bugger! Ooops, bugger probably doesn't qualify either!

If this is an attempt by tiggy to start a break away clique based on buggery, I vote CB as "ring-leader ".

CB will be asking all potential " Members " the following;

What's the difference between Colin McRae and Elton John............................................................................

....

Colin only had four people go down on his chopper.

Selection TLW.

Actually I view this forum as having the same criteria as scrabble - if the word can be found in a general standard version of an English dictionary or even and American one then it is acceptable.

Consequently we have had the last word use the myriad of words meaning faeces ranging from poo to shit all of which are acceptable. I just don't think Urgh qualifies as a word.

I didn't say 'URGH', I said 'UGH'! However, having reconsidered and in view of suiging's comments above, I think we need to have a full and comprehensive system of rules and regulations for TLW thred. And I nonimate CB for the position - he can of course just say 'eff off'!
