Actually I view this forum as having the same criteria as scrabble - if the word can be found in a general standard version of an English dictionary or even and American one then it is acceptable.

Consequently we have had the last word use the myriad of words meaning faeces ranging from poo to shit all of which are acceptable. I just don't think Urgh qualifies as a word.

After due consideration and checking the rule book I have decided that " 'eff off" does not qualify becuase while it is in common useage and understood by the wider international community it will not pass through the spell checker as a real word.
