I'm currently in the UK and have been since March. Didn't see any Diet Sprite last visit, but maybe there is now? I'm back in a couple of weeks and currently trying to diet!

If your serious about your diet and want to lose weight,

you should avoid drinking any sweet fizzy drinks even sugar

free ones.

Drink water or soda/sparkling water with your food, and stop beer or any alcoholic drinks altogether.

Here's a couple of article's to digest over:

Only freshly squeezed of blended fruit juice is healthy,

with no sweetening additives.

All fruit juices sold in cartons contain plenty of sugar and

cause weight gain.

and if you are diabetic, you should even avoid fruit juice ...   no fiber = as bad as your soda

sugar spike -> insulin spike

I find the bottles of HBD in Family Mart are pretty refreshing. No sugar, sparkling water with a few flavours - cola and lime, peach, lemon etc. 18 baht.

Well, if you can find the real thing, pure fresh unadulterated orange juice. But often you read the label and discover the reality!

Anyone found the real thing?..... Plain simple fresh juice.

Yes, works for me. Take a case of empties round to the booze shop and get a refill, cheap as chips, 140 baht for 24x400cc bottles.

If you have any British food store near you, look for Robinsons Squash'd.  A few drops of that in a bottle of soda water does nicely, there are many flavours.
