And it got me thinking about the many things I dislike about growing older. Nasal Hair! What's that about? Never had any until I hit 40, then all of a sudden...

So part of my daily routine as I shave is to check for the buggers while they are still small and pluck them out. Ooooh, it makes my eyes water.

Anything else you dislike about growing older?

lines (not quite wrinkles yet, but definitely lines) and the boobs going South. I never gave them permission to start migrating on me! I once saw a birthday card where a granny lifted her skirt & her boobs were at her kness. My fear is that when I'm 80 I'll be in a nursing home with young kid assistants laughing at the fact I've got tattoos & boobs that I kick as I walk!!

I don't mind lines (or wrinkles) they add character.

Thai breweries run less profitable every year I grow older...plus side: a real good piss-up is less costly.

heve never been corpulent enough to have a man-tits problem) !

What I realised a couple of decades ago was that every minor injury

and broken bone was going to come back and haunt me for the rest

of my life.

It is largely my fault because I was always too impatient with the

healing process - I once drove from Paris to Antwerp with my right

hand enclosed in plaster (drinking buddies assured me that this is

illegal under French law).

However on a bad day when every aggrieved bone in my body

has decided to pay me back for my previous neglect it is a very

painful crawl to the drawer with the painkillers.

Well, when you grow old and have bone aches and complaints, they are usually from war wounds, malnutrition or sports injuries, no? I ruled out the first two, and put yours down to athletic feats in your youth.

Dislike about getting older?

Being referred to as Papa instead of sexy man at the beer bars.

Watching a bunch of guys having a ball and thinking "silly old buggers" only to realise that I'm probably older than them.

There are advantages like being able to board AirAsia first as a senior citizen, but I'd gladly give that up for a twenty year rewind. Provided, that is, I stay on 2007 pay rate.
