From BKK to PTT by van

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Is it still possible to get to PTT by van from Victoria Monument area?

I suppose it depends on which of PTT's offices or petrol stations you want to go to.

Go to ekkamai bts then bus station next door. Large bus to Pattaya every half hour. I think 120 baht to Pattaya nuea

The OP didn't ask about going to Pattaya. He wants to go to a PTT petrol station: https://www.pttplc.com/th/Pages/IntroPage.aspx

I don't know if there is still any service from Century Plaza. At Morchit 2, cross the main road to the relatively new van terminal. From memory, go into Building C for Pattaya, but don't quote me on that. When I used it, there was minimal signage in Thai, and none in English.

PTT= Pattaya.

Same-same(c)  as BKK=Bangkok.

Actually i`ve found my own old ticket from 2013.... Those guys i was talking about  had sort of web-site even back then. http://www.pattayavan.com/v2/en/หน้าแรก/

But i`m not sure if they are currently operating .

No it ain't! BKK is Bangkok because that's the airport code for Swampy. There's no airport in Pattaya, but there's a U-Tapao airport but the code is UTP. It's not PTT. Here's a link for more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U-Tapao_International_Airport
