In Pattaya everyone is walking on Beach Rd, it's been closed to cars for the last 2 evenings (or more). What's the big event? And when will it end?

According to my Thai friend, it's 40 years anniversary of Pattaya...

    You didn't notice all them fireworks after 8pm Friday and Saturday night. It was great? They like to close off Beach Rd to traffic, it is something they do!

    There,s another similar banner down at the fireworks display stating (in various languages) "Driving Pattaya Forward" .....which comedian in City Hall thought that one up beggars belief.....brought a smile to my face anyhow :clap2:
