Weatherman predicts coldest period from December 7-9

Most parts of Thailand are forecast to experience cool weather this weekend, when temperatures in the North and Northeast are forecast to drop to between 6oC and 12oC and as low as 1oC on mountain tops due to an intense cold front now looming over Thailand.

Two state agencies appeal against hefty cut in R&D funding

An written appeal was submitted yesterday to the House budget scrutiny committee, by the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office (NSTIPC) and the Thailand Centre of Excellence for Life Service  (TCELS), objecting to a large cut in their research and development funding.

Foreign investment in Thailand grows 106%

BANGKOK (NNT) - Despite a drop in approved foreign companies able to undertake business in Thailand by 23 percent compared to last year, the number of foreign companies investing in Thailand from January to November this year has reached 22.153 billion baht (22,153,000,000), showing a 106 percent growth rate.

Cold weather in most of Thailand, South sees less rain
