Annoying advertising with sound

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

Is anyone having a problem with the annoying advert with sound track when accessing thaivisa.

Yeah it slows my browser down for some reason (along with the other ads -- I think from doubleclick.com?) and annoys me a fair bit.

Which bothers you more -- waiting 10 seconds before a page is usable or clicking the close button on the little ad?

haha another example of advertisers and site owners thinking that annoying users/potential customers will make advertising more successful.

such reverse logic can also be experienced on the bts system and in innumerable shopping malls around the kingdom where PR girls are let loose with a microphone and blaring PA system.

that's just how it is here.

If I don't close the ad in time, my computer overheats, then freezes, and I have to reboot.  The ad also slows down my keystrokes, so it takes forever to post a message.

I really like TVF, but I think I will limit my visits to once a month - to check for any major changes with Immigration.  If the annoying ad ever goes away, I will visit more often.

I decided to join other Southeast Asia forums solely because of the annoying ad here.

Such a terrible problem. I guess we have to start emergency consolation groups for our highly irritated TV-members. ????????????

No, not since I stopped using Microsoft Edge.

For whatever device I use I lose the annoying ads when I block or disable javascript for this site. For some features like posting photos
or reacting to a post with more than a "like" I turn it back on temporarily.
You should be able to find instructions on " how to turn off Javascript " through a web search.

The main issue for me is the amount of data it sucks from my account just to load the repetitive videos, gifs and flash files.  The irony of it is the fact that I'm paying more for internet service to see the ads.
