Maybe, maybe not. But the point is that they chose Boris over the Hopeless Corbyn. And that is that.

and here lies the problem, if you think that is democracy then you haven't got a clue

I thought Corbyn had been in a fridge for months already so lifeless does he seem

yet it was Corbyn who did debates, did interviews and went out and met the public... this was all about Brexit, a conjob that has made people vote for the very people who created the economic mess in the first place. All so we can have less brown people around, it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic

Yes "self aggrandising, condescending twaddle" perfectly sums up that post.

Thank goodness for people like this, the sneering, pompous, lecturing, interfering bores.

They make life easier for us Deplorables.

So then, after Corbyn spoke to the people, Labour scored its worse result since 1935. Well done! And now 'er, more of the same please, presumably is the message from the Corbynistas....

Jonathan blaming the smug socialists for the collapse of the Labour vote in the Midlands and North, and the consequent return of the most sinister opportunist this country has seen since Harold Shipman!

"Deplorables" is a label primarily referenced in the US political situation. Maybe you stumbled into the wrong thread. So easy to do. Difficult to concentrate with all those chips to shoulder about.

The mockery of Britain's working classes has been going on for many years. They voted Leave because nobody seemed to be listening to their opinions or representing their interests.

Even now, many on this forum openly mock the working classes. Well, they will be reading forums like this one. When the next referendum or general election comes, don't complain if you don't like the way they vote. You played your part in their decision.

Well done everybody who made vicious comments about how working-class Leave voters were "racist" and "stupid". You know who you are.

You just handed Boris Johnson a huge majority and an easy Brexit. I did warn you.

Alternatively, whine on social media.

You mean that’s not the sole domain of the Remainers, lefties, anti democrats, and assorted snowflakes?

Good job no Remainers whined incessantly on TVF about exchange rates. Although advocating revolution could hardly be compared to a whine.

Exchange rates and markets in general is where people put their money where their mouth is. How sterling performs has been a pretty accurate barometer of how the markets view the risk of a Hard Brexit outcome and will continue to do so. Sorry that this upsets the economic know-nothings, but never mind.

The chips on shoulder brigade just can't seem to unpack their Aunt Sallies. Easy Brexit? Not sure about that. Nigel Farage said he wouldn't vote for Boris Johnson's EU agreement. Most of the Hard Brexiteers here were parroting Brexit Party policy and yet now, suddenly, they have been Boris supporters since forever. So then, easy Brexit? If we include any possible trade deal, probably not as easy as the Brexiteer cheerleaders would like to believe.

Another Remainer moan and whine.
Do they ever give up?

I’m not sorry that the economic know-alls are having a hard time, but never mind.  If they did know everything they would not have got themselves in that situation.
Tough, but not important for 66 million in the UK.

And the “ficker than us” brigade are still at it.
Wait until the deal is done. They will still be naysaying as the UK prospers and the EU swirls down the pan. They hate losing and hate being wrong even more. But that’s where they are again!
