Changing THB to AUD

Featured Replies

Good Afternoon,

I’ve been to a few banks/currency exchanges with no luck so far. Is anyone aware of an institution or service where I can change THB to AUD before I go home?

thanks and regards

Have you asked at TT Exchange.... ?

Try the main one in Pattaya 2nd Rd. (near Boyz Town)

find a fellow countryman that wants to change the reverse of you, but lots of exchanges either on Pattaya 2nd road  or jomtein beach road

Kasikorn Bank, Central Festival on Beach Rd, 4th floor. They have a dedicated foreign exchange kiosk there.

OP: How munch do you wish to exchange.a significant amount you can order from most banks. In the meantime also agree TT Exchange usually has a good exchange rate compared to others.

Second Rd. opposite and slightly South of Soi Diamond. Money changer. Good rates. Big operation. Been around forever. Looks like an antique shop. MS>

Thankyou all for your replies, I will try each and every one of these! I’ll end up changing approximately 120k as I’ve been working as a teacher so I may need to either order some currency in or go to various locations.

I did this a few months back and found the exchange at the bottom floor of Central just as you enter from the beach had the best rate and the available AUD.  I tried most of the exchanges in 2nd  Rd and they did not have the currency and the banks had the money but a bad rate. I had to leave a small deposit and come back the next day. Was about 2000 aud

Soi Runglang, 3rd shop on left, looks like a gold shop, great rates no problems.
