Police: Hour of Duty

New UK cop show has just started.

Summary: A police show like no other, each hectic episode captures the incidents Derbyshire police force must tackle in just one sixty-minute period – from 9 to 10pm.

With cameras embedded across the force, every episode delivers an access-all-areas deep-dive inside a force that never stands still.  Every night sees officers coping with a wide range of cases, from missing children to drug house stake-outs, revealing how they must fight crime against the clock.

Started off the year with 1917 at the cinema, first visit in about 15 years.  Then found an old VHS machine and some tapes in store and the first one without a label I fed into the player turned out to be Schindlers List.

Together with the alcohol/travel/socialising/swimming/visiting temples etc ban I'm now looking for something to lift my mood.

Project Free TV.AG gives me more than enough choise. You do need top internet though and some time to navigate the site. Also Google Adds interfere as usual, again it can be blocked once familiar with its sneaky way via site info lock symbol top left on screen now. . The AG bit on the end of search is important.

Probably old news to most.........but every month there is a link that puts out a list for that month from  Netflix (and all the other Like channels) listing their programs for that coming month,

Thanks, Joblo on Youtube is good, too. They alternate weekly between movie trailers and TV trailers although they inclode some that are a long way from airing. I'm sure many will be familiar with them but just in case.....

"As popular as a Cheerleader on an oil rig" Funniest quote in TV series I've heard recently. It's from Series 2 of True Detective.

Season 2 of TD doesn't get a lot of love in comparison to the histrionics of Season 1, but it has much to recommend it in a subtler way. I really enjoyed it after a bit of patience up front and will watch again someday.

Anyone watch UFC 149 last night.......Just amazing how hard they hit each other, which you don't usually hear because of the crowd. + with no one there you get to hear the corner shouting instructions the fighters talking to each other...etc

I typed into Google when is the next fight (its in 3 days 14 May)      and 208 million people had typed  in asking same question before me......
