I don't know about you guys but it was very disappointing to have played in the heat last Saturday and then at the end of the game not having any beers as they had been sold out.

So now that Tytus and Ben have bought new motors, (and very nice motors they are indeed ) may I suggest that we should break open the Sunbelt piggy bank and splash out on a beer cooler.

Before the games, we could buy beer from Carrefour, chill it, win the football game and then celebrate with some nice chilled beers afterwards. No more of this lukewarm Heineken or Singha from the canteen.

Brilliant idea!

I noticed that Heineken currently run a promotion where one buys 12 LARGE cans of Heineken for about 650 Baht(so 55 Baht each) and then throws in a mini free cooler in a good enough size for about 15-20 small cans w. ice.

My car(and Tytus's of course) can fit it - while a full size cooler will have a hard time fitting in even Tytus's car (the teams that bring have SUVs or vans).

So maybe we can dig out 650 Baht somewhere and pick one of those up before promotion ends? The fact it comes with a large Heini' per player for a full team+coach is a nice coincidence!

It appears now that if we are playing the 4.30 game, the beer is always sold out. Next week we have another 4.30 kick off. I believe that Firefan has a beer cooler. all we need now are some beers to fill it.

yeah because ive got a bass box behind but might take that off and replace with other bass solution

Take out the base unit and replace it with a build-in beer cooler!

I do not have the cooler yet - hopefully this wk - but also have a trip to Pattaya so might not have time to go and pickup and pay it.

I DID speak with the girls at the snack/beer counter last time - and they have no problem that we pay before the game for our beers and hold them for us in the inside fridge - so anybody with potential beer thirst after late games should probably plan ahead and head there - we can make a coordinated order of say 2 each for the usual suspects.

That said; the cooler will ensure we actually get COLD beers and beers at ALL.
