Congress, regardless of which side of the isle they are, I hope you will agree,  should be doing their job of oversight as one part of the three equal branches of American Government and maintain the check and balances that has made as great.  .

  The president has the right to veto a bill , congress to override, and Judiciary to determine if either one of them is  Constitutional.

Regardless of whether a bill is signed in to law, it also has the power of delineating positions, and become an issue in the upcoming election.

  The future of American Democracy stands in the balance.

Also much more importantly possibly 45 didn't realize he started a war (or maybe he did to deflect from impeachment and to secure reelection) but what really matters is how it's seen by the Iranian regime. To them it was most definitely an act of war and now it will be escalating.

Don't know about the generals, but there must be many Americans in Iran who are thinking to leave the country.
