All this makes me think you are a serial visa runner, which is what the embassies/consulates do not like?? As are many of us on this forum. Vientiane currently doesn't discriminate against serial visa runners. Neither does Penang and even Jakarta is also looking 'serial visa runner' friendly going by Lazygourmet's report.
