Loei nineteen year old: She's just 120 cm and has the face of an eight year old

A young Thai lady from Loei in the north east of Thailand has told the Thai media that she is perfectly happy being just the way she is. 

 

Kantima or Nong Pui is 19 but only 120 cms tall and has the face of an 8 year old, reported Sanook.

 

The Phu Reua native works with her mother Bunkhlai, 59, in a rose garden.

 

She said that lots of people stare at her but she has no inferiority complex. She had always been small and the people who know her know that she is just fine. 

 

She stopped school at P6 - the last year of Primary. Her mother was concerned that if she moved school she might be bullied so they felt it was better to terminate her education. 

 

So she started helping her mother in the rose garden.

 

She said that when she was pregnant she had an accident involving her arm hitting her stomach and thought the foetus had died. 

 

But she gave birth prematurely at 7 months and Nong Pui weighed just one kilo....the same as a bag of sugar. 

 

She has another daughter aged 30 who works in Bangkok.

 

Sanook made no attempt to report if the other child had the same condition or what that condition might be, if any. They also did not say why their reporters had gone to Loei to see the family.

Much better than the other way round ! We used to go into villages deep in the jungle in New Guinea and find 10 year olds with faces on them that looked 70 years old !!

Leave her alone and let her get on with her life.

So now she is physically "unusual" and educationally disadvantaged.

i wonder if they look younger as they get older
