I am living here for 4 months now and will stay until 01.04.2020 Duo to an exchange year at one university.

Germany is my home and I wanted to purchase a MacBook in an Apple Store, as the Price is cheaper than in Germany.

 

Does someone know if and how much I have to pay in Germany for that product that I’m importing in 2 1/3 months?

The price is at 2000€ approximately.

I got the EDucation Visa, so VAT refund is not an option.

I still own an old MacBook.

Unless things have changed drastically I was never questioned upon entry to Germany.  In any event,  if you buy it here then the minute you take it out of the box it is now used, so you are importing a used MacBook into Germany as your personal property, 20 or so you might have a problem, one you won't cause a blip on any radar 

No issues. I travel requentry between Thailand and Germany.

In my carry on bag is always a MacBook Pro, 2 IPhones and an iPad which all were purchased in Thailand & Hong Kong 2018/19
