Guy that lived in this village that was x-military, history of mental illness, and related to high-up government officials. This is all about saving face. I wonder how long it took the police to find a guy to frame. Despicable.  Note to self: do not ever work at a shooting range while living in Thailand. Immediate red flag.

His BMW isn't worth cr*p it's old as hell. The supercar in some photos is a rental, he doesn't have a yacht.

He has an injury on his leg the same way the robber did. If he was really a scapegoat the police would've picked up some drug addict not the 'rich' man that you state.

Where's that photo from? How does a school director of 43 students afford that? I looked on his Facebook and  various news sites saw no photos of any vehicles like this.

Only saw a picture of his dad's house and it's a little wooden shack

A school director with an injured leg, policeman as a father and a teacher as a mother. Doubt it's a scapegoat, they could've easily chosen a washed up druggy ex-soldier whom would've had less connections. 

More likely that he was trying to kill someone who was gonna ruin his life... Truth will come out eventually, this is just the first day.

This was his car in 2018

If he was (without torture) willing to confess, then he would most likely be willing to provide the gun and gold as evidence. If he no longer has them, he would be able to tell police where they went. Then I would have confidence they had the right man.

Apparently the gun belonged to his father and was returned to the father, motorbike also returned to a family member, so presume the police hae all that as evidence already.

TGW while I agree with you in truth the punishment of being in a Thai prison for many years is probably more harsh than a quick death.  In the USA I can tell you they shy away from the death penalty in part because it is far more expensive to fight the never ending appeals on a death case versus the cost of housing someone in prison for the rest of their life. 

Why is it in every other Country criminals never confess to their crime, even when it’s obvious they’ve done it, but in Thailand they just can’t wait to confess everything the minute their caught ???

Interesting turn of events. I surmised that it was a hit but you cannot be sure till the confession has been hammered......I mean write out and signed.

Police left the father’s house with evidence bags so that remains to be seen.

 The scooter was returned to the father in law’s and shown to news reporters.

Strange story - he was bored with his life and he wanted a challenge from what I can interpret. His freedom and life will be challenged now.
